The Best Chocolate Fondue

So creamy, rich and completely satisfying!

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 12-13 ounces of good quality chocolate. I used Lindt. 2 milk chocolate and 1 dark chocolate bar. Chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp vanilla

Instructions

Directions:

  • Fill a medium-large pan with 3 inches of water. Place a bowl (metal or glass. I use metal as it's lighter and easier to lift when needed) on top of the pot with water. This is what we call the double broiler method. If you have a double broiler pot, more power to you! But the bowl method works perfect.
  • Pour the cream into the bowl and let warm. This will take a solid 5 minutes. Whisk occasionally.
  • Once cream is warm, add the chocolate pieces and begin whisking.
  • When chocolate begins to melt, add the brandy and vanilla. Whisk and let combine. We want it warm!
  • Pour your chocolate fondue into the top bowl of a fondue pot. If you don't have one, it's okay. You can totally pour it into a saucepan and heat it up, while whisking, if it starts to cool down. You can also buy a small fondue pot on amazon for like $25 and up. So they're very affordable!
