Summer Lemonade
Tart, sweet and crisp! Very refreshing!
- 10 large juicy lemons If they're not very juicy, add a couple more!
- 5 large juicy limes If they're not very juicy, add a couple more!
- 3 large oranges
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups warm water
Put a small sieve strainer over the top of a large measuring cup or a bowl. Cut all the fruit in half, and using a lemon squeezer, squeeze all of the fruit over the sieve and let the juice fall into the bowl. You should have about 1 3/4 cup worth of fruit juice. If you don't, juice some more lemons and limes.
Pour that juice into the bottom of a pitcher. Add your sugar and the 4 cups of warm water. Stir to combine until the sugar dissolves. Top with sliced fruit and pour over ice.
