Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Pumpkiny, chocolatey, moist and flavorful! Not completely necessary to spread with honey butter but it certainly doesn't hurt. A new fall favorite!

For the bread:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
For the honey butter:
- 1/4 cup salted butter, softened to room temp
- 1 tbsp honey
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a loaf pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine all of your ingredients and mix well to combine. Pour into a loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes.
While the bread is cooling, combine your softened butter and honey in a small bowl. Spread a generous amount on top of a piece and enjoy.
