- 4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 2 cups small pretzels
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 20 mini candy canes, crushed about 1 cup
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a double boiler method, melt your semi sweet chocolate and add the peppermint extract. Stirring constantly with a spatula. Spoon the melted chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread it out into an even layer. Top with the pretzels, pushing down lightly. Pop in freezer for 5-8 minutes.
While that's hardening up, melt your white chocolate using the same method. Once smooth, remove the pan from the freezer and spoon the white chocolate on top. Spread it out over the base layer. Top with the crushed candy canes. Put back in freezer for at least an hour to firm up.
Break apart into pieces (or use a large, heavy knife) and store in an airtight container for up to a week.
