1/4cup + 1 tbspsoy or tamari sauce can use coconut aminos, but add salt to taste if you do
1/4cup + 1 tbsppacked light brown sugar
1 1/2tspminced garlic
2tspsesame oil
1/4tspground ginger
1tsporange juice
1/4tsp crushed red peppercan add 1/2 tsp if you like spice
1/4tsppepper
2cupscooked rice
1cupsteamed broccoli
green onions, diced, for garnishoptional
Instructions
Place your ground beef and diced onion in a large pan over medium heat. Let cook until nicely browned, about 8 minutes. Drain off the fat.
While the beef is cooking, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, orange juice, red pepper and pepper in a small bowl. Pour into the pan over the ground beef and let simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce has slightly thickened.
Put some rice in the bottom of a shallow bowl. Top with broccoli and lastly, top with the ground beef. Make sure to spoon a little sauce over the bowl as well. Sprinkle with green onions and red pepper flakes.
