Happy October!!
October is one of my favorite months of the year. My birthday and all of the anticipation for the holidays really make it a special month. I love experimenting with fall flavors to make dishes the whole family will enjoy. Truth: I made this bread the other day and gave a piece to my hubby. He doesn’t like bananas so I told him it was just pumpkin chocolate chip bread to see if he could even tell. You see, I think he just thinks he doesn’t like bananas. My theory proved to be true! He loved this bread and ate every crumb. In his defense, he did ask, “….is there bananas in this?” To which I replied, “It’s a pumpkin chocolate chip bread, babe. Do you like it?” 😂 Jokes on him. He couldn’t tell! Now I know that if I can disguise the scent and texture of a banana, he will eat it. I feel like I’m well prepared for kids that are picky eaters. haha
Anyways, this pumpkin chocolate chip banana bread is so easy to make and only takes 5 minutes of hands on time. Great as a dessert, for breakfast with a cup of coffee or just for a snack in the middle of the day. This hits the spot!
