Holiday M&M Cookie Bars

Chewy, soft, buttery and filled with chocolate chips and m&m's. Really good and simple to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cup flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstach
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled for a few minutes
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup m&m's
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9x13 with parchment paper with overhang for easy removal.
  • In a large bowl whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a stand mixer, beat butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix to combine. Pour into flour mix and mix using a spatula. Fold in m&m's and chocolate chips. Transfer to prepared baking dish and smooth out. Bake for 26-30 minutes until toothpick is almost clean. Let cool for an hour before removing and slicing. Enjoy!
