Crockpot Mashed Potatoes

Creamy, easy and so so good. The best way to make mashed potatoes for any holiday or big group!

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs potatoes, I use a mix of russets and golds, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 32 oz carton of chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sticks butter (1 cup)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions

  • Add the potatoes, chicken broth, water, 1 stick of butter, salt and pepper to crockpot. Set on high for 4-5 hours. Once done, drain liquid and return to pot. Add 1 more stick of butter, cut into pieces, the milk, the cream cheese cut into pieces, salt and pepper. Use a hand masher or a hand held electric mixer for super smooth potatoes. Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Enjoy!
