Hello my loves,
I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of my top 5 purchases last year. It can be easy to buy excess things nowadays with apps that make it too convenient to do late night shopping. I’m talking to you Prime delivery. So I thought a list of my top 5 things that I purchased and would purchase again in an instant might be useful to some of you!
I know I share a lot of products on here. But that doesn’t mean that I think everyone reading should purchase every item! I include a lot of different types of things so each of you reading my posts might think things like, “Ya know, I’ve been needing a military style cargo jacket. I like this one!” Or “I desperately need some new basic tees. These look comfy!” I share all the things so that you don’t have to scour the internet yourself trying to find the best high rise straight leg jeans. But today’s post is dedicated to things that I myself purchased, as well as one thing that was a birthday gift to Charlie from his bubbe, that are 100% re-purchase material.
Top 5 Purchases Last Year
- Non-toxic cookware. This was a gift from hubby for Christmas and it has completely changed my cooking game. Because the pots and pans are so versatile, I have decluttered my kitchen immensely.
- Monochrome rug. Okay, this was purchased in 2020 *but* it has remained a top seller of mine and I fully stand behind it. It’s a bargain price, neutral for any space and is of quality construction. Our dogs bury/dig in this rug all the time for some reason and none of it has been torn or shredded.
- Artificial olive tree. Okay so yes, I am aware that you can find cheaper olive trees. However, none that are this tall, this full and look this realistic. Trust me I looked evvvveerryywhere. Amazon has a lot of options, some that have 2 of those things but none that are all 3. The height and fullness really make a difference, especially in a large room with high ceilings. For reference, our living room ceilings are like 12ft high. A dinky faux olive tree would look kinda sad and unimpressive. This one is perfect. Would gladly buy more for other rooms but I think we’re moving soon so doesn’t make sense now.
- Doona Tricycle. This was a gift to Charlie for his first birthday and we would 100% purchase this ourselves. It’s one of those things that yes is pricey but is worth it because it grows with the kid. Right now we’re using it as a stroller alternative but later it converts to a regular tricycle for Charlie to practice with. A smart investment and it folds up pretty small too.
- Saint Laurent sneakers. (pictured above) These are such a classic sneaker, luxe and laid back at the same time. They are elevated and have the lowest cut making them extremely flattering because they elongate the leg. Not to mention they look good with pretty much anything! It’s a designer item that I will purchase over and over again, literally will order the exact same ones when these have had enough. So if you’re in the market for a designer item that will be 100% worth your money, I cannot recommend these more. They come in several different color options. Here is black, silver and leopard.
There you have it! These are all bigger ticket items but I cannot recommend them more. Definitely my top 5 purchases last year!
