Today, I was sitting here thinking that it’s the perfect afternoon for a yummy cocktail. Specifically, a tequila based cocktail. Tequila is one of my favorites and margaritas have been a long time favorite as well. Then I got to thinking, “oh, wouldn’t it be lovely to make a pomegranate margarita?”
Pomegranate juice is so good for you, too! It’s chock full of antioxidants which makes this drink both delicious and healthy…well, sort of healthy. We can tell ourselves that, at least. 😉
Pomegranate Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1-2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce pomegranate juice, I use POMS
- 2 limes squeezed
- Ice
- Salt for rim
Directions:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add all ingredients and shake.
- If you wanna rim the glass, take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of the glass and dip in salt.
- Pour over ice.
