Just like the seasons, your skin changes. What it needs changes and what it looks like changes (slow down, time!) so what you put on your skin should change, too. I try to pay close attention to what’s going on with my face. In this weird in-between stage of seasons where it’s chilly and dry then occasionally warm and sunny, my skin almost always has some sort of eczema breakout. I now have a pharmaceutical supply of all the samples a girl with eczema could need that I got from my dermatologist. (haha) But I’ve also found some products that just work, so I’m going to share those with you.
Favorite Products OTM-April 2018
- OLEHENRIKSEN- Balancing Force Oil Control Toner. This stuff is incredddddible. I was having a hard time finding a toner that didn’t leave my skin feeling dry. This stuff fights existing acne while preventing more breakouts and leaves your skin feeling cool and moisturized. It will definitely stick around for a while!
- BIOSSANCE- Squaline + Mineral SPF 45. I posted about this on my IG and I meant what I said! It’s a fantastic daily SPF that leaves your skin feeling moisturized and protected. It makes for a fabulous primer under makeup and has light reflecting particles that help brighten your complexion! So, for all those no-makeup gals like me, this is a 1 step miracle. It also fully blends in with no white residue left over!
- BIOSSANCE- Squaline + Micronutrient Fine Mist. This is a little spray of joy! It’s packed with squaline, a mulit-mineral complex, hyaluronic acid and green algae. If you read my last post of fave products, I thought I might have an allergy to algae. Turns out, I don’t! This mist smells amazing, causes no reaction from my hyper-sensitive skin and is perfect when your skin needs a little mid-day pick me up! It comes in two sizes.
- DR.ORGANICS- Manuka Honey Rescue Cream. This one I posted about last time. Turns out, it’s a ride or die for me. It combats eczema and can be used anywhere!
- SKINCEUTICALS- H.A. Intensifier. This is a multi-functional corrective serum good for all skin types! It boosts your skins natural hyaluronic acid levels. It helps with fine lines, dryness, skin plumpness and skin texture. True story: I went to Sephora last week and 3 of the employees stopped me and said “what do you do to your skin?! It’s literally glowing!” If that’s not enough of a reason to try this, I don’t know what is! I’m not kidding, my skin has drastically changed since using this! It’s plump, dewy, reduced lines on my forehead and leaves my skin feeling amazing.
