Football season is here and that means all the snacks. This easy buffalo chicken dip is so creamy, cheesy, full of shredded chicken and has a kick! I know you will love it!
I do actually love football and the whole world of tailgating and game days. I grew up in Nebraska so it’s apart of me! The food is so quintessential to a successful game day. Here’s my easy buffalo chicken dip to spice up your next party!
Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip
Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip
Cheesy, full of chicken and spicy! Perfect for game day. Serve with tortilla chips or stuff inside some crescent rolls for a little twist!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken, about half of a chicken
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°. In a large cast iron skillet or other oven safe skillet, add butter and melt. Once melted, add garlic and saute until fragrant. About a minute. Add shredded chicken and buffalo sauce. Stir to combine and let cook 2 minutes. Add cream cheese and stir to combine. Add sour cream and shredded cheese. Stir one more time than pop in oven for about 10 minutes or until top is starting to brown up a bit. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
