Hello my loves,
With Thanksgiving being just a few days away, I thought it would be good to share a roundup of easy recipes that are quick and travel well! I like to plan ahead. But last minute sides to take to Thanksgiving are also need sometimes. Here are 3 last minute sides to take to Thanksgiving.
Sweet Potato Casserole
This recipe is so easy and so good. All the things you want from a sweet potato casserole. Creamy sweet potatoes, a brown sugar pecan crumble and topped off with toasted, melty marshmallows. Truly delicious.
Cranberry Salad
If you’re like me and hate the jiggly can of cranberry stuff, this salad is for you. It’s easy, different yet so frickin’ good. It’s sweet yet tart, crunchy yet soft from the jello. Tart cranberries, crushed pineapple, an orange, celery, walnuts, and cherry jello come together for an unexpected cranberry salad. Really tasty, I promise. If you like sweet/tart dishes, this one is for you!
Warm Brussels Sprouts and Butternut Squash
This is a delicious veggie side that has all the Fall flavors we like but is much lighter than most of the dishes on the Thanksgiving table. Brussels, butternut squash, juicy pomegranate seeds, warm cinnamon and cloves, and shaved parmesan come together for a festive side dish. This will also appeal to any vegetarian or vegan friends you have!
I hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving! xx
