I thought it would be fun to do a post on current fashion trends that I’m loving! Listen, there are some that are keepers and some that are a hard pass. As with any season, there are things I’m into and things I’m not. Here’s a few of them…
Let me start this current fashion trends that I’m loving post by saying that yes, I am a 90’s baby. However, I’m not really a fan of 90’s fashion 🙈 There, I said it. Don’t hate me. There’s something about the shapeless jeans that make me want to gag and the butterfly hair clips? I liked those when I was a tween watching Never Been Kissed. I can occasionally get on board with a bucket hat.
Anyways, the 90’s have made quite the return this year. And while it may not be my favorite decade to pull style inspiration from, there are elements of it that I don’t mind incorporating! For instance, I love a good wide leg jean! A wide leg jean is tight at the waist and slightly at the hips then fits looser through the thigh and either goes straight down or gets a little wider as it goes down the leg. To me, that is a very flattering shape. Pictured below!

And how do we feel about mini bags?
I get it, I do. They are adorable and dainty and undeniably feminine. However, if a purse can’t hold my iPhone max, I’m out. The bag doesn’t need to be massive! However it has to be big enough to hold my essentials. Therefore I am skipping the mini bag trend all together.
What about cutout pieces?
I am here for allll the cutouts. They add an element of sex appeal and basically have “vents” to help beat the summer heat. Smart and sexy! Here are some of my favorite cutout pieces…
