What I Put On My Registry

Wow, 32 weeks already!! Full term is 40 weeks which means I have approximately 8 weeks left. Could be less, could be more. 😬 To say I’m feeling the urge to have everything we could possibly need as soon as possible is a complete understatement! I thought now would be a good time to share with you what I put on my registry. I get lots of questions on this, “Did you register for the dockatot?” “Did you register for your stroller?” “Did you register for the SNOO?”  Lots of questions on what exactly we’re registering for. So, below you’ll see the items we registered for separated by category.

Prices of items on a registry are important too. Most of my items are under $50 but there are of course items that are more than that. Like the furniture, strollers, electronic devices, monitors etc. While most people won’t get you those items, there will be some family members that want to get you something like that or a few friends that want to go in on bigger gift together for you. I say, it never hurts to put it on. Also, everyone will want to get you clothes. The only clothing items I have on here are plain white onesies because I hear that is something you can’t get enough of!

**Tip: most registries offer a completion discount after the shower. So like, really just put everything on there and then you can use the discount to get whatever items remain.**

I’ve always heard that I’ll get lots of opinions on what I should/shouldn’t do/get/buy/feed etc. to my baby/kid. I just wanna say, do your own research! Once you have researched an item or topic and can form your own opinion, talk with your partner and decide what’s best for you guys. ♥️ After doing our own research and discussing, we decided against the SNOO. I personally know many moms that have loved it and swear by it, though! So as with everything, do your research. 😉

When I first sat down to do my registry, I wasn’t sure if registering for things for myself was Kosher. But like, for real, what our bodies are doing during these 9 months and the toll it takes on them, I think asking for a non-toxic candle and soft blanket to help catch some zzz’s in between feedings and changing diapers is something no one can judge. Amen to that! Also, friends and family that have recently given birth will know the importance of a few relaxing items for mama.
I will do another post with our nursery reveal that will include all of the decor we ordered as well! The nursery will be done the first or second week of September. The wallpaper took a little longer than expected!
