It’s been a minute since I’ve shared my latest skincare obsessions! Which honestly, is a good thing because it allowed me to really give some new products a chance to see if I liked them or not. I’m listing these in the order I use them. A quick recap of my skin type…
Combination oily, enlarged pores in t-zone, sensitive, eczema around my eyes, allergic to rose…
So fresh and so clean, clean with iS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex.
This cleanser hands down beats all other cleansers I’ve used because it doesn’t strip the skin of all the oils. It’s a ph balancing cleanser which means it keeps your skins’ ph level where it should be, between a 4-5.5 acidity level. You can read more about why that’s important HERE. I’ve used this for 2 years!
Use this AM and PM.
Keep it toned with Ole Henriksen’s Balancing Force Oil Control Toner.
Remember how I just said that your skins’ acidity levels should remain around a 4-5.5? Well, this toner has a bunch of healthy acids that refines your pores and removes excess oils without stripping your skin. I’ve used this for 2 years now!
Use this AM and PM.
Keep your skincare working for you long after you’ve applied it with iS Clinical’s Active Serum.
Yes, this one is a little pricey. I cannot express how much I love this product. It fights fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation, redness, free radical damage etc etc. It really is a holy grail product and I can’t live without it. I’ve used this for 2 years.
Use this AM and PM.
Glow baby glow with Algenist’s Liquid Collagen.
This is a product that I actually got a 14-day sample of from Sephora and have been hooked on ever since. It’s an anti-aging formula made with 13,000 microalgae oil beads. It really does make your skin glow and look refreshed. It balances out texture problems and fights aging! I’ve been using this now for about 4 months.
Use this AM and PM.
Moisturize with Skin Ceutical’s Hydrating B5 Gel.
You’ve heard me talk about this before. It delivers a serious dose of long-lasting moisture without any greasy feeling. This is the perfect moisturizer for oily skin types! I’ve been using this for about 2 years.
Use this AM and PM.
Protect with Biossance’s Squalane and Mineral SPF 45.
This is another holy grail product for me! I’ve tried lots of different face sunscreens and most of them break my face out or cause some sort of reaction. This is a zinc-based sunscreen, which is the most effective kind of sunscreen. The squalane keeps your skin moisturized and the sunscreen acts as a wonderful primer for your makeup. I’ve been using this for over a year now!
Use this in the AM.
To wakeup with glowing, healthy looking skin try Algenist’s GENIUS Sleeping Collagen.
This is the last step in my nightly routine! I don’t put this on my forehead unless my skin is extra dry. I use this on the lower half of my face and neck to wakeup with firm, glowing skin. One jar lasts a long time, too! I’ve been using this for about 4 months.
Use this in the PM.
Eyes that don’t age with Shiseido’s Benefiance Wrinkleresist24 Eye Contour Cream.
As I previously stated, I have eczema around my eyes. Because of this, I have to be very careful of what eye creams I use so they don’t cause a flare up. This eye cream does not cause a flare up, is intensely moisturizing and helps fade fine lines and crows feet. Eye creams should be the last step in your routine. I’ve been using this one for about 6 months now. One jar lasts a long time!
Use this AM and PM.
There you have it! This is my current skincare lineup! As you’ve read, these have been constants for a while now so, they have my vote of confidence!
xx
