Hello beauties!
I’ve gotten a ton of requests for Thanksgiving outfits to wear this year. If you’re like me, comfort is your main thing on Thanksgiving. But just because you’re comfortable doesn’t mean you should sacrifice style. Simple little accents on sweaters, prints that elevate a look, detailed yet comfortable shoes. Some families have those really fancy Thanksgivings where everyone is in cocktail attire. I actually had our Friendsgiving be cocktail attire to test it out. It’s fun and feels festive af but I could tell everyone just wanted to put on comfy clothes. So, from now on, Port Friendsgiving’s will be casual attire. haha Check out this look below that is quite possibly going to be my Thanksgiving outfit this year!
This oversized collared turtleneck is so chic, soft and stretchy! I am also obsessing over the pearl button detail on the sleeves. It really takes this sweater from basic to interesting without sacrificing comfort or functionality. Animal print is obviously trending right now so I chose to add a splash of that to this look for a more “on-trend” vibe that helps make this outfit pop a little more. Add a hat, some earrings and the perfect pair of stretchy jeans (no unbuttoning required this year!) and you are in Thanksgiving business. My sweater: Goodnight Macaroon
Jeans: Good American
Hat: Goorin Bros
Earrings: Madewell
Purse: Chanel (via What Goes Around Comes Around NYC)
Boots: Steve Madden
I’m linking a ton of other Thanksgiving looks today in the LiketoKnow. It app for you to go check out! They are all comfy and some are for warmer climates for my girls in LA, Florida etc. Hopefully you can pull some inspo from them and find something you love!
